Skillbook SAFe LPM course was excellent. Good pace and course materials. Would highly recommend it.
Brian DonnellyClass with Hanna Hawthorn
SAFe is one of the Training 100% worth taking. All the participants were involved and taken into account since day1. Good pace and very, very interactive. We ended up feeling like a real team. I really hope we can see each other in training.
Laura CamposClass with Daniel Silverman
The 2 day workshop was awesome. Chris Harrison was my coach and he made sure all our questions were answered with proper explanations. Further preparation after the course helped me pass the exam with a good score of 98%. The training was the good first step which I would recommend for sure.

The advantage window

Someone on your project board is already doing this.

They spent a day working out which parts of status, risk and reporting an AI can draft, and when a draft is safe to send. You are already being compared to them, in steering meetings and in the next round of hiring.

Today

It sets you apart.

Few project managers check AI drafts against a written standard yet. A status pack you can defend line by line still gets you noticed.

Within a year

It is expected.

The tools get easier and your peers catch up. Doing it earns no particular credit, because everyone in the room is doing it.

After that

It is noticed when missing.

Your reporting still takes a whole evening, and the people above you can see it.

Your lead timeClosing

Waiting is a decision too. The same day buys you a head start now, or a catch-up later. Only one of those is worth talking about in an interview.

71%

of leaders say they would rather hire a less experienced candidate with AI skills than a more experienced one without them. Your résumé is being sorted before anyone reads your track record.

What you will be able to do

Delivery work, done with AI and checked by you.

Status report day. The last one got skimmed, and your risk log looks complete until something nobody wrote down goes wrong. Now AI writes the first draft. Would you sign it? You learn to make that call on your own project.

01

Rebuild a status report so a stakeholder reads it to the end

02

Draft the risk log, then sweep it for what is missing

03

Estimate from your own project history

04

Draft stakeholder notes and escalations, then fix the weak ones

05

Set where AI may draft, help or never touch on your projects

06

Decide when an AI draft is good enough to send, and say why

You leave with
  • Six tested delivery prompts, labeled with model and date
  • Worked examples of weak and strong AI drafts
  • The marking guide, so you know what a pass looks like
  • Your status report rebuild, already under way
The class, module by module

Five modules in one day, most of it hands-on.

A live group class built around what project and delivery managers do most often. Same modules for everyone. The project is yours. 300 of 390 minutes are hands-on.

01

Setting AI rules across your projects

Decide where AI may draft, help or never touch, and what happens if nobody catches an error.

37 of 45 minutes hands-on
02

Testing and labeling your delivery prompts

Build six delivery prompts, test each one, and label it with the model, version and date.

50 of 60 minutes hands-on
03

Reading AI drafts the way a stakeholder will

Read AI drafts the way a stakeholder will, then fix a note or escalation of your own.

65 of 75 minutes hands-on
04

Judging AI on one real delivery task

Write your marking guide first, then judge AI on ten real examples of one delivery task.

77 of 90 minutes hands-on
05

Rebuilding your status report and risk log

Start your hand-in: rebuild a status report and find what your risk log is missing.

How you earn it

Your own work, marked by a person who did not teach you.

One process for every American School of AI credential. You can read the standard before you pay. You can also fail, which is why a pass means something.

  1. 1

    Read the published standard

The standard and its marking guide are published before you enroll. Before you pay, you know what the class covers and how your work will be marked.

  2. 2

    Train live with Skillbook Academy

Skillbook Academy, an Authorized Training Provider of the American School of AI, teaches the one-day class live online.

  3. 3

    Hand in your own work

Within 14 days of class you hand in one status report rebuilt so a stakeholder reads it to the end, and a list of what is missing from your own risk log. A marker who did not teach you reads your work against the marking guide, without seeing your name or employer. Any of the checks can come back Not yet. If it does, you fix it and hand it in again once, free.

  4. 4

Pass, and it is yours for 2 years

Pass, and you get your certificate and digital badge with a Certificate ID anyone can check at americanschoolofai.com. The credential is valid for 2 years.

I took the Leading SAFe course a few weeks ago and passed the SA certification right after. I have no words to describe the quality of delivery, information and content passed down to us. It was a great experience and two days flew by so quickly.

Questions

Answered.

Who is this class for?

Project and delivery managers who already run delivery: you write the status report, keep the risk log and handle the escalations. There is no prerequisite, and nothing in the class requires you to write code.

Which AI tool do I need?

The one you already use. You label each prompt with the model, the version and the date you tested it. A tech check 48 hours before class confirms your account works. If you have none, you get a practice account.

What do I bring, and what if my employer says no?

Bring your last two status reports and your current risk log. If your employer will not let you use real material, a practice set we supply stands in and you say so on your cover note. It is marked the same way.

How is my work marked?

Within 14 days of class you hand in one status report rebuilt so a stakeholder reads it to the end, and a list of what is missing from your own risk log. A marker who did not teach the class, and who never sees your name or employer, reads it against the published marking guide. Each of four checks gets Not yet, Pass or Strong. You pass with Pass or Strong on all four. Your result comes back inside 10 working days.

What if my work comes back Not yet?

You get written feedback and one free chance to fix it and hand it in again, inside 14 days of the mark.

How long is the credential valid?

2 years. The valid-through date is printed on your certificate. Anyone can check it at americanschoolofai.com with your Certificate ID.

Can I book seats for my team?

Yes. Up to four people from one company can join a public class. For a bigger group, ask about a private class for your company.

Where does this lead?

Pass, and Certified AI Integration Manager is open to you: two days on work that crosses teams. Pass that and you can take Certified AI Adoption Leader (AI-AL), three days, which prepares you for the roles employers post as AI Enablement Lead and AI Adoption Lead. Nobody skips a starting credential.
