Skillbook SAFe LPM course was excellent. Good pace and course materials. Would highly recommend it.
Brian DonnellyClass with Hanna Hawthorn
SAFe is one of the Training 100% worth taking. All the participants were involved and taken into account since day1. Good pace and very, very interactive. We ended up feeling like a real team. I really hope we can see each other in training.
Laura CamposClass with Daniel Silverman
The 2 day workshop was awesome. Chris Harrison was my coach and he made sure all our questions were answered with proper explanations. Further preparation after the course helped me pass the exam with a good score of 98%. The training was the good first step which I would recommend for sure.

The advantage window

Some Scrum Masters already run their ceremonies this way.

They decided which stand-up and retrospective tasks an AI may touch, and which it must not. They prepare in less time and still own the room. Their teams notice, and so do the people who hire coaches.

Today

It sets you apart.

Few coaches have a written rule for where AI belongs in their ceremonies. Having one is still rare.

Within a year

It is expected.

Teams expect their Scrum Master to use AI with care. Doing it earns no particular credit.

After that

It is noticed when missing.

Your impediments still sit for a week before anyone escalates them, and your team notices.

Your lead timeClosing

Waiting is a decision too. The same day buys you a head start now, or a catch-up later. Only one of those is worth talking about in an interview.

71%

of leaders say they would rather hire a less experienced candidate with AI skills than a more experienced one without them. Your résumé is being sorted before anyone reads your track record.

What you will be able to do

Facilitation work, done with AI and checked by you.

Monday stand-up. Everyone says no blockers, and you can tell that's not the whole story. Then the retro circles back to the same complaint. In class you work from your own team's notes and leave with an AI coaching partner you've tested yourself.

01

Design retrospectives from the patterns across your past ones

02

Prepare stand-ups and pull the real blockers out of the noise

03

Rewrite impediments so they actually get escalated

04

Build an AI coaching partner to help calm conflict and plan your next step

05

Read team health from what you already keep in Jira, Confluence and Miro

06

Judge when an AI draft is ready for your team, and when it isn't

You leave with
  • An AI coaching partner built from your own tested prompts
  • Worked weak-versus-strong examples
  • A checklist for deciding what is good enough to send
  • A start on your next retro, built from your last three
The class, module by module

A live group class built around what Scrum Masters and team coaches do most often. Other learners test your prompts on their own input. 300 of 390 minutes are hands-on.

Which stand-up and retrospective tasks AI may touch

Decide which ceremony tasks AI may touch, and what it may read in Jira, Confluence and Miro.

02

Building your AI coaching partner

Build six prompts that coach with you, from stand-up prep to calming a conflict early.

50 of 60 minutes hands-on
03

Spotting weak AI drafts before your team sees them

Spot weak AI drafts in six real pairs, then fix one of your own impediment write-ups.

65 of 75 minutes hands-on
04

Deciding when AI is ready for your team

Write your marking guide first, then judge ten AI answers to one real team task.

77 of 90 minutes hands-on
05

Starting on your impediments and next retrospective

Start your hand-in: rewrite three impediments to get escalated, and plan your next retro.

How you earn it

Your own work, marked by a person who did not teach you.

One process for every American School of AI credential. You can read the standard before you pay. You can also fail, which is why a pass means something.

  1. 1

    Read the published standard

The standard and its marking guide are published before you enroll. Before you pay, you know what the class covers and how your work will be marked.

  2. 2

    Train live with Skillbook Academy

Skillbook Academy, an Authorized Training Provider of the American School of AI, teaches the one-day class live online.

  3. 3

    Hand in your own work

Within 14 days of class you hand in three impediments rewritten so they get escalated, and a retrospective designed from patterns across your last three. A marker who did not teach you reads your work against the marking guide, without seeing your name or employer. Any of the checks can come back Not yet. If it does, you fix it and hand it in again once, free.

  4. 4

Pass, and it is yours for 2 years

Pass, and you get your certificate and digital badge with a Certificate ID anyone can check at americanschoolofai.com. The credential is valid for 2 years.

I took the Leading SAFe course a few weeks ago and passed the SA certification right after. I have no words to describe the quality of delivery, information and content passed down to us. It was a great experience and two days flew by so quickly.

Questions

Answered.

Who is this class for?

Scrum Masters and team coaches who already run retrospectives, stand-ups and impediments for a team. There is no prerequisite, and nothing in the class requires you to write code.

Which AI tool do I need?

The one you already use. The class is not tied to one product. A tech check 48 hours before class confirms your account works. If you have none, a temporary account is set up for you.

What do I bring, and what if my employer says no?

Bring notes from your last three retrospectives and your impediment log. If your employer will not let you use real material, a practice set of impediments and retrospective notes we supply stands in. You say so on your cover note and it is marked the same way.

How is my work marked?

Within 14 days of class you hand in three impediments rewritten so they get escalated, and a retrospective designed from patterns across your last three. A marker who did not teach the class, and who never sees your name or employer, reads it against the published marking guide. Each of four checks gets Not yet, Pass or Strong. You pass with Pass or Strong on all four. Your result comes back inside 10 working days.

What if my work comes back Not yet?

You get written feedback and one free chance to fix it and hand it in again, inside 14 days of the mark.

How long is the credential valid?

2 years. The valid-through date is printed on your certificate. Anyone can check it at americanschoolofai.com with your Certificate ID.

Can I book seats for my team?

Yes. Up to four people from one company can join a public class. For a bigger group, ask about a private class for your company.

Where does this lead?

Pass, and Certified AI Integration Manager is open to you: two days on work that crosses teams. Pass that and you can take Certified AI Adoption Leader (AI-AL), three days, which prepares you for the roles employers post as AI Enablement Lead and AI Adoption Lead. Nobody skips a starting credential.
